Why should you be part of a Willwriting community?

One of the best things about being part of a community is that you have the freedom to decide how you want to benefit.

At the Institute of Professional Willwriters (IPW), this is one of the key pieces of feedback we receive. Whilst we are a growing organisation which strives to ensure clients receive the highest level of later life planning, we know this can only be achieved by supporting our members. As they are at the heart of what we stand for, it’s vital that they have the ability to choose how membership will work best for them.

Whether it’s simply to be part of a supportive network, stay ahead of the curve through our comprehensive training, or discuss key challenges with fellow members, the professionals that make up the IPW are free to tailor their membership in a way which suits their needs.

Of course, that doesn’t detract from the key reason why professionals join us in the first place; communicating the quality of their service to potential clients. Regardless of the extent to which you’d like to be involved in our community, the high standards and professionalism which we prioritise – and enable you to demonstrate through the use of our logo – remain unchanged.

For over a quarter of a century, Will writers have chosen to become a part of the IPW network, with around 155 new professionals each year taking advantage of what membership offers – it’s not hard to see why:

  • Access to low cost professional indemnity insurance. Differing to other available policies, this is highly comprehensive.
  • Access to the only Willwriting Code of Practice which has been approved by the Chartered Trading Standards Institute, enabling you to use this as an accreditation and demonstrate professionalism to consumers.
  • Exclusive access to the WIllwriting Academy Ltd; having recently achieved a CPD accreditation, the Academy provides high-quality update and training courses.
  • Access to our exclusive Members Forum, enabling you to connect with like-minded professionals as well as gaining support and advice.
  • Access to partner companies who can provide expertise in their own specialist fields.

Becoming a member of the Institute of Professional Willwriters indicates that your skills have reached a high standard, building both reputation and the number of clients interested in your services.

Whether you’re an established Willwriter or just starting out, IPW membership can help ensure that your practice stands out. Find out how you can become a member today by clicking here.
