Kings Court Trust’s technology helps partners to gain greater Insight

As an estate administration specialist, Kings Court Trust is proud of its reputation for providing clients and business partners with a market leading service.

In recent years the business has invested heavily in developing technology that is designed to make dealing with them as straightforward as possible. This was the premise behind last year’s relaunch of Insight, the bespoke online tool which has now been used over 7,500 times by customers and partners who want to manage all aspects of their relationship with Kings Court Trust.

For families using their estate administration service, Insight provides access to the latest information on their case at the click of a button. Whether the customer wants to find out when their tax returns have been completed, see an estimated completion time for work on the estate, or find out any information about the work that is being undertaken on their behalf, they can do so by logging in at their convenience.

Tom Curran, Chief Executive of Kings Court Trust, says that families want flexibility in terms of how they access information; “Insight has been developed based around the needs of our families. While our team of personal estate advisers are always on hand to speak to a customer personally, not all of the families that we deal with want to pick up the phone during the day. We understand that many of our customers have extremely busy lives, so the ability to login to Insight and quickly check the progress on their case whenever they have five minutes to spare is hugely valuable to them.”

A version of Insight designed for Kings Court Trust’s business partners has also undergone significant improvements over the last 12 months. The system allows partners to refer families, check progress on how clients’ cases are progressing and upload important documents. The new system also incorporates Onsite, Kings Court Trust’s exclusive quoting tool that allows partners to provide families with a guaranteed, fixed price quote for their comprehensive estate administration service.

The introduction of the new tools has seen a significant change in the way partners can work with Kings Court Trust according to Curran; “Our business partners can now offer our services as a direct part of their own customer proposition. This means that the family have access to our service quicker and with less hassle, while our partners can add value to their own customer relationships and upsell their own services as part of those conversations. This has allowed to us to help more families at a time of need and our business partners are happy because they can offer an estate administration service without the need to lose control of the relationship with their client.”
