Fraser And Fraser Chooses The Alzheimer’s Society As Its Charity Of The Year 2021
International probate research firm Fraser and Fraser has chosen The Alzheimer’s Society as its Charity of the Year 2021.
The firm, whose work centres on finding missing or lost beneficiaries to estates, made its decision following an employee vote on a shortlist of charities.
The move forms part of a developing CSR policy that will see Fraser and Fraser focusing on a range of innovations in addition to working with its charity of the year.
As part of its commitment to The Alzheimer’s Society, the firm will also make the charity the focus of its annual calendar; which is distributed to more than 800 clients and contacts within the legal sector and beyond.
Commenting on the partnership with The Alzheimer’s Society, Fraser and Fraser partner Neil Fraser said:
“We are delighted to confirm The Alzheimer’s Society as our Charity of the Year 2021. Many of us within the firm have seen the effects dementia can have on families and the vital role charities such as The Alzheimer’s Society play in combatting the effects of the disease, so we are looking forward to a close cooperation over the coming months.”
“Partly as a result of having featured in all 12 series of BBC’s Heir Hunters, the firm has a wide-reaching public profile and we hope to harness this to help the charity to achieve some of its goals over the course of the next year.”
“Being a responsible business is a key part to our success and continued longevity. How we conduct our business, how we interact with the community, manage our environmental impact and treat our employees is as important as the business we do.”
Siobhan Nugent, Head of Regional Fundraising for Alzheimer’s Society, said:
“We are delighted that Fraser and Fraser have selected The Alzheimer’s Society as their charity partner for 2021.
“With this new partnership, we will be able to raise vital funds for critical research and support services, making that all important difference to people impacted by dementia. Thank you Fraser and Fraser for uniting with us against dementia.”
The partnership will begin on 1 October 2020.
