Final chance to expand your knowledge with the Society of Will Writers

There are still spaces left on the Society of Will Writers’ courses taking place this month. These are the last time they will be held this year, so don’t miss out on gaining valuable CPD hours.

Each session is open to both members and non-members of the society and will take place at The College of Will Writing in Lincoln.

Courses that are still available include:

Estate Planning & Trusts with James Greenwood – 20th November 2014

The aim is to gain a better understanding of trusts and to be able to provide a suitable trust advice for each client.

Practical examples will be used to demonstrate advantages and tax issues, as well as compare different types of trusts.

This will be followed by a session on life time trusts and how they can be used in estate planning.

Sure Will Writer Course with Brian McMillan — 21st November 2014

The aim is to learn all about the Sure Will Writer drafting program, and what is taught will also be applicable to a range of other software.

This will improve the quality of drafted wills, allowing the writer to create more accurate and professional wills for their clients.

Drafting Lasting Powers of Attorney (with 2014 updates) with Craig Ward — 26th November 2014

The aim is to learn about the updates on the best practices for making an LPA, as well as receive advice on various assessments and different ways of drafting.

Drafting Deputyships with Craig Ward — 27th November

The aim is to gain practical knowledge on completing the relevant paperwork and making accurate Deputyship applications, as well as how to manage any issues that may arise.

All of the courses are £98.50 for members, and £175 for non-members to attend.
