CTTC Ltd at the 2018 Parliamentary Review Gala Evening

Earlier this year, Countrywide Tax & Trust Corporation Ltd (CTTC) were chosen to feature in the 2018 publication of The Parliamentary Review, Law & Justice Edition, alongside Prime Minister Theresa May, Joe Egan, and Chancellor of the Exchequer Phillip Hammond.

CTTC Ltd were recognised as a leading figure in the legal sector, by the essential guide to industry best practice, which aims to share knowledge and raise standards.

To celebrate the success and hard work of Countrywide and other organisations who made the Review possible, Directors Clive Ponder TEP and Bob Massey TEP DipPFS were invited to a Gala Evening in The House of Commons, hosted by Parliamentary Review Chairman, Sir Eric Pickles.

The evening started with a wine reception followed by speeches from MP Jacob Rees-Mogg and former Australian rugby captain, James Horwill, plus lots more. Julia Hartley-Brewer, talk Radio Breakfast Show presenter, introduced the guest speakers.

Speaking on Countrywide’s involvement in The Parliamentary Review, Director Clive Ponder said:

“It is a true reflection of the hard work and commitment of our staff to be chosen. We have always strived to be an example for best practice across the industry, and we will continue to provide technological advancements through our Will writing Software, Countrywide Legacy, to make this possible for ourselves and others who want to improve productivity and customer service.”

Prime Minister Theresa May commented that ‘this year’s Parliamentary Review follows a significant year in British politics’ and this is reflected in the articles from leading journalists and best practice representatives alike.

Sir Eric Pickles, Chairman of the Review, said: “it has never been more important for government to hear the views of business and the public sector in a constructive forum. It is also a vital time to share best practice and progress.”

The Parliamentary Review has been sent to over half a million leading policy makers, stakeholders in industry and other relevant individuals. The articles in the Review act as both a blueprint for success and a template for reform.
