Award winning firm achieves the Legal Eye Quality Standard
Fletcher Longstaff has recently added the Legal Eye Quality Standard to their artillery of achievements.
The Lincoln-based firm, who last year picked up top prizes at both the LFS Conveyancing Awards and the ESTAs, have ambitious growth plans, viewing best practice and compliance to be integral to their future success.
The Legal Eye Quality Standard (LEQS) is recognised to be one of only a few assessment schemes to address those rules and regulations which go over and above the traditional quality standards. The LEQS is awarded to firms who have demonstrated compliance with the Code of Conduct but also with additional legislation including the E-Commerce Directive, the Bribery Act 2010 and the Equality Act 2010. It also covers areas such as referral and fee sharing, publicity, as well as treating customers fairly.
Adam Cheal, Director of Fletcher Longstaff expressed delight in receiving this latest accolade, stating: “As an ambitious and expanding conveyancing firm, we completely understand the importance of having the most relevant, up to date risk procedures in place. Testament to the hard work and dedication of the team, the Legal Eye Quality Standard is now displayed in our reception, as well as on our website and marketing collateral.”
Norman Denton, Senior Compliance Associate at Legal Eye says: “It’s been a real pleasure working with Adam and the team and I would like to congratulate the whole firm on building solid processes to protect their firm, employees and customers in this age of heightened risk. It’s clear that best practice is encompassed in everything they do.”
