Private client team retains high ranking in legal guide

A wills, trust and probate team have managed to maintain their position in a recent guide from Chambers UK 2017.

The team at BP Collins’ have once again been highly placed in the latest High Net Worth Guide, which ranks legal professionals over a number of specialist areas.

As well as being rated on its administration for high net worth individuals, BP Collins’ private client practice was also ranked on its capital tax planning, estate planning, wills and trusts. Stating that the practice had been praised by a local source, Chambers UK stated: “They’re a good firm doing this work, and they do a good amount of it.”

This ranking comes just after the appointment of the practice’s new partner and group leader, Gary Kiely. As well as several years’ experience providing advice to high net worth individuals, he also has expertise in complex tax issues and cross-border estates.

Commenting on the appointment was Chief Executive, Ian Hopkins. He stated: “Our new partner in the wills, trusts and probate practice is leading a very strong team, as reflected in the latest rankings. With Gary’s added expertise in advising the owners of multimillion-pound estates – from directors of blue chip companies to well-known clients from the entertainment industry – the team are set to go from strength to strength.”
