Welcome, dear readers, to the new look Today’s Wills & Probate.
It’s been a little while in the pipeline, but I’m very pleased with how it looks. It’s going to change how we work a little, being much more image rich compared with our previous site, but we will still be focusing on quality stories for will writers, probate practitioners, estate planners and other related fields.
The website has changed significantly since I joined the team in November, with our readership nearly doubling in that time, and more than sixfold since launch in 2014. There have been plenty of significant developments in the industry in these past few months, with residence nil rate bands, the ongoing Heather Ilott case and the mooted huge changes to probate fees.
There’s still lots more potential for change to come, with the UK’s place in Europe up for debate, and cases surrounding the UK’s position on the EU’s 2015 succession regulation yet to clarify things, but we’ll be here digging out the things you need to know in wills and probate.
