Leading firm recognised as investor in people

A leading UK law firm has been awarded a silver accreditation against the Investors in People Standard.

Achieved by Moore Blatch, specialists in both property and private client law, the award demonstrates the firm’s dedication to high performance through good people management.

Employing over 300 staff, Moore Blatch has offices in Richmond, Southampton, Lymington and London, serving both business and individual clients across the UK.

Setting out what’s required to lead, support and people manage effectively, Investors in People provides the standard on an international basis to achieve sustainable results. The Investors in People framework underpins the Standard, mirroring the skills, structures and latest trends within the workplace to operate effectively within any industry. The organisation enables companies to compare their standard to others within the industry on an international level, encouraging them to develop and improve their own practices.

Paul Devoy, Head of Investors in People, said: “We’d like to congratulate Moore Blatch. The Investors in People accreditation is the sign of a great employer, an outperforming place to work and a clear commitment to success. Moore Blatch should be extremely proud of their achievement.”

Commenting on the award, David Thompson, managing partner, Moore Blatch, said: “This award has been achieved during a time when we have acquired another law firm and relocated both of our Southampton offices to new premises. I’m therefore extremely proud of the commitment of all our staff in achieving the silver standard in Investors in People.”
