The Law Society has warned that any emails purporting to be them regarding ‘Find a Solicitor’ profiles should be treated with caution.
The emails allegedly from the Society alert the recipient that their ‘Find a Solicitor’ profile has been compromised, referring to a P1 and P2 form. However, Chancery Lane have confirmed that this is a scam and advise legal professionals to delete it.

The Law Society stated: ‘This email is not from the Law Society and we strongly recommend that you do not open the attachments on the email.’
In order to avoid the risk of others being affected, the Society has also warned that the email should not be forwarded or opened whatsoever.
