Join the Institute of Professional Will Writers at their upcoming meeting

The Institute of Professional Will Writers (IPW) are holding their next group meeting within the North West of England, at the National Cycling Centre in Manchester.

On Thursday 4th December, both members of the institute and non-members can come together and gain valuable knowledge, as well as be part of a great networking opportunity while enjoying a delicious lunch on the day.

Speakers at this latest meeting are members from the IPW sponsor Wilkes & Co. This will include associate Ann-Marie Aston, who specialises in many areas of the wills and probate industry.

Topics that will be covered during the meeting will include current issues and best practices surrounding:

  • Court of Protection
  • Office of the Public Guardian
  • Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPA)
  • Advanced Decisions

After the meeting, all attendees will be invited on a tour of the National Cycling Centre. A delicious buffet lunch will then take place overlooking the indoor cycling track, where the Great Britain cycling team are said to be training during the day.

In addition there will also be a Grand Prize draw, were the winner will be announced at the end of the meeting.

The basic timetable is planned as set out below:

9.30am — arrival, attendees to meet in the café for light refreshments prior to the meeting.

10am — meeting will commence.

11.00am — 15 minute break.

12.30pm — meeting finishes.

12.45pm — tour of the National Cycling Centre.

1.30pm — buffet lunch.

2.30pm — depart.
