Build your CPD with The Society of Will Writers

Throughout the year, The Society of Will Writers (SWW) gather together experts from the industry to lead insightful wills and probate courses.

This season, the courses have already established great success for professionals across the country, with many expanding their CPD portfolios with the high quality training.

As promised, the latest courses being held next week are as follows:

Martyn Frost, On Wills — 28th October 2014 (£175 members/£225 non-members)

Martyn Frost is one of the UK’s leading speakers within the wills and probate industry, and will be leading several training sessions on wills throughout the day.

Key topics will be covered during the training, including compliance, legislation, and topical issues within the industry. Participants will gain a true understanding of the latest in the wills and probate industry and an informative insight from a renowned expert.

IHT Planning — 29th October 2014, 10am-4pm (£175 members/£225 non-members)

Mike Smith is well-known within the SWW and is a renowned trusts expert and qualified solicitor, and will be heading the IHT Planning Course.

The course will cover issues with family dynamics, the importance of core documents and will look into the various products available for IHT planning. Attendees will learn the key principals involved with IHT planning, in a dynamic and comprehensive structure.

To get the most from this particular course, it is recommended attendees have previous experience of will writing.

Business Property Relief — 30th October 2014, 10am-4pm (£175 members/£225 non-members)

The Business Property Relief Course will also be tutored by Mike Smith, whose experience and knowledge of the industry will certainly make the day insightful.

Looking from the business perspective, the course will cover a wide range of topics, including property investment, tax benefits and IHT planning. Practical examples will also be presented, including qualifying and non-qualifying businesses.

Places are limited on the courses, so don’t delay and make sure you book early to avoid disappointment. Some are also taking place later on this season, so if you miss out now make sure you secure a booking for later in the year.
