Wollen Michelmore appoints local wills and probate specialist

The appointment of Chris Linton as a new Partner at Wollen Michelmore is an action that increases the firm’s total number of partners to an impressive sixteen. The Private Client Department in which Linton will be situated in, is now set to be enhanced even further with his appointment. It is reported that Wollen Michelmore have worked ruthlessly over the years and in the process have achieved the status of becoming the fifth largest firm in the Devon and Somerset Law Society area.

According to recent reports, the Devon-based firm’s ethos of recruiting ambitious local professionals has yet again proven to be successful. New recruit Chris was allegedly born and raised in the South Devon area and even completed his school days in Torquay.

In his later studies, Linton attended Kingston University where he studied law, before completing his Legal Practice course at Plymouth University. Prior to his appointment at Wollen Michelmore, in 2010 Linton resided in the South West to complete his training at a firm in Wiltshire.

In recent reports, Linton has expressed his sheer delight at the opportunity he has been granted; he also revealed feelings of surprise as his rise to the top was quicker than expected. Along with feelings of excitement, Linton branded the firm as revolutionary and a company that has immense prestige. He went on to show his appreciation towards how he has managed to remain situated in the area that he cherishes so greatly.

Linton is thought to be a man of many talents, however his specialist areas are probate and carrying out administration of complex estates and their tax issues. Also, being able to advise on drafting wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs), he is seen to be a versatile member of the team. Wollen Michelmore Chief Executive, Chris Hart, has recognised his talents.

After praising his new appointment, Hart later expressed his appreciation for the firm’s significant growth over the years. Hart also mentioned how he has immense pride in Wollen Michelmore’s roots and Private Client Department’s reputation; the appointment of Chris Linton being set to enhance this even further.
