Will Writers Membership Body Supports Exclusive Industry Awards

The Institute of Professional Willwriters (IPW) is excited to be a part of the second upcoming prestigious British Wills and Probate Awards, which is brought to you by Today’s Wills and Probate, alongside headline sponsor, Arken.legal (UK) Ltd, a leader in software solutions for the legal services.

A membership body for Will Writers in Great Britain, the IPW is proud to be supporting the awards by sponsoring the ‘Young Practitioner of the Year’ category. Taking place on 17th October 2019, the exclusive event will be located at the respected Belfry Hotel and Resort in Birmingham.

Following the shortlist announcement for the awards ceremony last week the Wills and Probate sector fervently took to social media to publicise their achievement at being shortlisted and professionals congratulated their peers in anticipation of the upcoming event.

The IPW is owned and run by its 900 members, working within 265 of the most professional Will writing and estate planning companies in the country.

The body is a not-for-profit self-regulatory organisation that attracts members from an array of areas including private practice and financial services, plus solicitors, barristers, and accountants too.

Furthermore, the IPW is the only Will writing membership body whose Code of Practice is approved by the Chartered Trading Standards Institute.

Marcos Kallou, IPW Council Member said:

“As the leading self-regulatory body for the Willwriting and estate planning profession for the past nearly-thirty years, the IPW is delighted to again support this prestigious event by once more sponsoring the Young Practitioner category. We are keen to encourage and support new entrants into the sector and to continue lobbying for a properly regulated Willwriting profession’ “
