There is a new scheme set up by Certainty Will Register that will help combat many of the will search issues faced by the industry.
Every Wednesday, a panel of experienced advisers are available who will be able to answer many of the key questions from wills and probate professionals. This will help decide for each of your cases whether a will search is appropriate for your client and resolve any of the compliance queries that may arise.
Some of the main issues that are brought up during the sessions include:
- How to effectively risk assess each probate case
- Risk mitigation
- Professional executor matters such as how will searches can coincide with current legislation, including section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925.
- Complex family matters
Will Search Wednesdays are being held on a weekly basis every Wednesday between 9.30am to 11am.
