ULS co-founder to step down from board in August

Compare Probate owner ULS has announced that non-executive director and co-founder Nigel Hoath won’t be seeking re-election to his role and will therefore be stepping down in August.

ULS also announced a will writing service comparison tool back in March.

Nigel Hoath sold £4.5 million worth of his shares in the company in January in order to fund property investment opportunities, but still has a stake of 11.8% in the technology business.

At the time, ULS said Hoath would not be selling any further shares for “at least six months”.

Speaking about Hoath’s decision to step down, Non-Executive Chairman Pete Opperman said: “Nigel has achieved great success with ULS over many years, leading the Company up to and through its successful AIM listing in July 2014.

“On behalf of everyone at ULS I want to thank him for his contribution and wish him the very best for the future.”
