Society of Will Writers SWW

There’s more to the SWW than regulation!

We like professionals to know what it means to be a member of the Society of Will Writers (SWW).

Whilst we are not undermining the hard work that goes into regulating our members, and trust me, this is an incredibly important part of what we do for both the professional and for the protection of the consumer, we do so much more than regulate them.

Our representative function is incredibly important to us. We really enjoy being able to assist practitioners with support services so here is a snapshot of what we do for members.

Sure Will Writer – Professional Will Suite

The SWW work with our developers to provide our own software to professional will writers and solicitors. The software is supported by the SWW and developed in accordance with the changing needs of its members. Professionals not yet using Sure Will Writer can sign up to a free no obligation 7 day trial where you get full access to the system. Not only does it produce all the documents you’ll possibly need but it also had an interaction function to record client contact, as well as built in invoicing and appointment booking system. The SWW’s technical team provide full support and advice on using Sure Will Writer.

Logo/Web Design

Through the SWW we can provide you with logo design, bespoke marketing material, compliment slips, custom email signatures, letter headed paper design, posters, roller banners and business cards. We do this at very competitive prices. Just give us an email with any questions.

Technical Advice

A benefit of full membership, any number of questions can be emailed to our technical team in relation to all aspects of Will drafting and succession law. Our team will provide a full response within 48 hours. There is no limit to the number of questions you can submit. This is included within your membership fee. Some advice may require further clarification. We won’t offer advice on lifetime trusts. Some advice is chargeable (and you’ll be notified beforehand).

Training/ CPD

The SWW’s training arm, The College of Will Writing provides training to ANY professional, from bespoke courses for big corporate organisations, to those that are new to the profession and all manner of courses in between. We’ve recently launched our new Business Growth Boot Camp and have lined up some GDPR seminars and dates will be released soon.

Newsletter

The SWW produce a weekly newsletter for our members keeping them up to date with interesting articles, industry news and relevant content.

Marketing Support/ Material

As part of their membership the SWW are pleased to support members with marketing support. We provide examples of successful campaigns we’ve seen, give food for thought when it comes to new marketing methods and can help members produce an effective marketing strategy. On top of this we can help with rebranding, website development and marketing collateral.

Template Documentation

As part of your daily practices you will be required to provide terms and conditions to clients and to adhere to the Data Protection Act (soon to be the General Data Protection Regulation). You will need to have the correct information and procedures in place and the SWW can help.

Product/ Service Introduction

We have carefully selected partners who, through the SWW can provide you with services that you’ll need or that your clients may want:

The process is fully audited and Safe4 have system controls in place to manage permissions to the vault.

Half of these benefits are provided by selected partners, the other half are directly provided by the SWW. Our representative function, distinguishable from our regulatory function allows us to help and support members to grow their business.
