SRA Closes Law Firm Following Misdemeanour

The Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) have closed the doors on a large national firm for alleged wrongdoings.

On 12th August, the SRA intervened into Kingly Solicitors Limited, trading as Giffen Couch & Archer due to suspected misconduct and misdemeanour by the owner.

Kingly Solicitors also trade under Richard Herne Co, Hancock Quins, Austin Ray, Ray Nixon Brown, Beesons, Cole, Hughmans.

The investigation is currently ongoing, but all practice papers, files and monies held by the firm at the date of intervention are now being held by the SRA.
