The Practical Vision Network attends LegalEx 2018 – Did we see you there?

LegalEx, the largest and fastest growing legal event in the UK, made a successful return for 2018.

There for the duration of the 2-day event, The Practical Vision Network was pleased to be among over 90 other exhibitors; seeing new faces as well as those more familiar.

The team was proud to be representing Lawyer Checker, Solve Legal Marketing, Today’s Conveyancer and Today’s Wills and Probate, and pleased that so many attendees took the time to find out how they could protect and promote their business.

Just next to the entrance at stand 310, the team engaged with professionals from across with sector, discussing the importance of protecting client funds in a climate of heightened risk, as well as effective ways to stand out amongst competitors.

We also got the chance to hear from some great speakers throughout the course of the event, enabling us to gain an advanced insight into sector trends as well as engage with professionals  on the issues which are of most importance to them.

Lucid delivered an interesting talk highlighting the prevalence of cybercrime, stating that 12% of firms report cyber attacks on a daily basis. As well as the need to implement effective measures to prevent fraud, another common theme running throughout the talks was compliance; the GDPR in particular. Digital Pathways discussed the growth of risks which firms should be alert to, with open Wi-Fi networks, USB sticks and malware all a cause for concern.

Looking to the future of law firm promotion, Enlighten discussed the pitfalls which many professionals are experiencing where marketing is concerned. Highlighting that the significant majority of consumers use Google to search for a law firm, they went on to discuss the importance of inbound marketing – rather than about the firm, the focus should always be the client.
