New law firm launches in South East Wales

A new solicitors practice has opened in Chepstow, Monmouthshire. The firm is called Feakes & Co and is headed by Michael Feakes, formerly a partner at Newport firm RDP Law. The practice operates out of Basepoint Business Centre, Beaufort Park.

“I am delighted to be starting a new law firm in my hometown of Chepstow,” said Mr Feakes. “The town is growing fast, there are lots of very good local and national businesses based in the area, so it is an exciting time to be launching a business here.”

Feakes & Co provides legal advice and representation to individuals, families and businesses. “My aim to help solve problems and disputes for clients, whether they are bringing a claim or defending one,” said Mr Feakes. “My legal practice involves claims and litigation in the areas of wills and probate, company and partnership matters, problems at work and employment, breach of contract, debt and property.”

Mr Feakes did his legal training and worked in the City of London, and then spent several years at large commercial law firms in Bristol, before joining RDP Law. “I have been a solicitor for more than 20 years, representing a wide range of clients in claims from a few hundreds of pounds to several million. I am very pleased now to be able to work for clients and provide legal services throughout South East Wales and Gloucestershire, including Chepstow, Caldicot, Newport, Monmouth and Lydney.”
