Have your say; final reminder for HMCTS communications and engagement survey

HM Courts and Tribunal Service (HMCTS) is seeking feedback about how it communicates and engages with professionals that work in courts and tribunals.

The 2021 communications and engagement survey closes this Friday (16th July) can be accessed here and should take around 15 minutes to complete.

The survey is asking for professional court and tribunal users (such as legal professionals, the advice sector, contractors and the police) to complete a short, multiple choice survey about how HMCTS communicates and engages with its users about subjects such as its work on reform, recovery and day-to-day operations.

HMCTS uses lots of different methods to communicate with people working in courts and tribunals including social media, GOV.UK, blogs, e-bulletins, working groups, forums and webinars, but it wants to find out what its users think about these communication methods, specifically over the last 12 months. This includes whether the right channels are being used to reach the right people at the right time, if the right level of detail is being provided when necessary, and more generally, what it could do better.

The survey will help HMCTS understand how people access information about HMCTS services, what it does well and what needs to be improved in its communication and engagement strategies. HMCTS also hopes to find out what its users think about the way it communicates and engages with professionals when they are not directly using its services.
