British Wills And Probate Awards 2020 And The Coronavirus

British Wills And Probate Awards 2020 And The Coronavirus

Despite the anxiety enveloping the UK at the moment, we can confirm that the British Wills and Probate Awards will take place and we have every intention of holding the gala dinner in October!

So far this year coronavirus has derailed all major global sport and mass gatherings have been postponed.

These are unprecedented times and we must follow governmental advice to ensure we remain safe. Whilst this means we cannot guarantee celebrating the successes in person, the success still deserves to be recognised.

What we can confirm is that the awards will take place and the judges are ready to sift through the myriad entries. This means our winners will still gain their award for 2020, highlighting their excellence in an already talented sector.

Entry, judging and shortlisting will continue as planned and there has never been a more important time in the UK to recognise the effort, innovation and dedication of the private client and will writing industry to assist the public in providing advice, drafting wills and administering probate.

Now is the time to consider the people in your business that deserve recognition and get your entries in!

Award entries are now open for the 2020 British Wills and Probate Awards. For £145 plus VAT, you are able to nominate up to three categories. That is three parts of your business that will get the praise they deserve.

The exclusive awards seek to discover and recognise outstanding achievements, highlight progressions and champion innovation amongst firms and individual private professionals across the Wills and Probate sector.

If you’d like to nominate your business, firm or deserving individual, register your interest here.

Arken.legal (UK) Ltd, a leader in software solutions for the legal services industry, are the headline sponsors for the event.

Dave Newick, MD of Arken.legal, commented:

“Demand on our industry has increased during a time when our working environments and processes have had to adapt significantly. Remote working, client interactions over the phone or online, embracing technology solutions to ensure consistency and efficiency… If ever there was a time to come together, perhaps virtually, to support one another’s achievements during this time of physical isolation, it’s now.”
