National commendation for rising star

A solicitor from a Yorkshire legal firm has been recognised at a national award ceremony in London.

Helen Forster, Associate and Dementia Champion at Goole/Pontefract-based Heptonstalls LLP Solicitors, was highly commended after reaching the national final of the Modern Law Awards 2016.

She was amongst only a handful of shortlisted candidates from across the UK in the Rising Star category, which acknowledges the significant contributions made by new and emerging legal professionals.

The commendation was presented in recognition of her efforts to develop the firm’s private client department, which have resulted in a significant upsurge in business over the last 12 months.

This accolade also follows her recent appearance as a finalist in the 2016 Yorkshire Legal Awards.

Shaun Pinchbeck, partner at Heptonstalls, said: “We are incredibly proud of what Helen has achieved and this commendation is further proof of the terrific contribution she has made to the firm.

“For her to be recognised on the national stage, in addition to her shortlisting at the Yorkshire Legal Awards, is an outstanding achievement.”

The Modern Law Awards were launched across the UK to celebrate and identify sparkling talent and success in entrepreneurship, market development, business management and best practice in the modern legal services arena.
